An Eye Check up Camp was organized
in Mewat District of Haryana on 30th
and 31st of August, 08 in which 600
workers were screened out of which
100 workers were performed IOL
surgeries. The camp was inaugurated
by Deputy Speaker of Haryana Vidhan
Sabha, and presided by Local MLA of
Nuh. |

previous batches, Chairman, AEPC
renewed the MOU with CITA, Hongkong
on 2nd April,2008.Under this MOU the

Skilled development among the BPL Youth |

For sustainable development and
livelihood of the downtrodden and
poor people of the country, girls
and women in particular two MOU’s
were signed between AEPC Rural
Development & Labour Welfare
Foundation with ICS/IAS Officers
Wife’s Association, Kidwai Nagar,
New Delhi and S.A.N Jain Education
Board, Ludhiana.These two training
satellite centers will provide skill
training in apparel designing and
students trained from these centers
will be placed in apparel industries
of the area. |

As conscious and responsible members
of the society AEPC has resolved
that the aspect of social
responsibility is an important
factor in our corporate ethics. In
association with National Trust and
NGO’s we would try to rehabilitate
the physically challenged persons
and provide training to them for
employment in the garment industry
keeping in view that the nature of
individual disability .After the
training the Foundation ensure that
these people are employed in the
apparel Industry. |

Under this MOU National Trust has
sponsored disabled persons and first
training program was inaugurated on
18th Nov,2008 by Sh.Atul
Prasad,IAS,CEO&Joint Secretary
,National Trust at ATDC Kolkatta
centre.In this training program 20
disabled persons will be trained in
Garment Construction and Sewing
Machine Operator Course and after
this training they will be placed in
Apparel Industry. |

On the eve of the International Day
of disabled i.e. 3rd Dec,2008 a
training program for the
rehabilitation of disabled children
was inaugurated by Smt.Sharda
Rathore, Parlimentarian Secretary,
Haryana Assemble, Govt.of Haryana at
Ballabgarh ATDC Training centre. In
this training program 20 students
will be trained and placed in
Apparel Industry. |
