Sensex gained by 0.58 percent in the Previous Week

The BSE Sensex, the barometer of stock market has gained 0.58 per cent on 3rd August, 2011 from the previous week. Many textile and garment companies saw a rise in their scrip. The rise was led by Kewal Kiran Clothing whose scrip gains 2.16 per cent from the previous week. , , Vijay Textiles, Aditya Birla Nuvo, Bombay Rayon, abd Gangotri Textiles saw rise in their scrip by 1.84 percent, 0.89 percent, 0.28 percent and 0.17 percent respectively Raymond’s, Bombay Dyeing, Pantaloons, Gokaldas Exports, Century Textiles and Aarvee Denims and Exports saw fall in their scrip by 4.31, 1.71, 1.61, 0.82, 0.39 and 0.1 respectively. .
