Rakesh Vaid

Shri Rakesh Vaid is a member of the Executive Committee of AEPC since 1983. He has been the Chairman of many sub-committees of AEPC including Export Promotion, Finance and Budget, Project Implementation Committee and Apparel House Management and in the past headed the Garment Exporters’ Association as a President.

Shri Rakesh Vaid is the Founder Chairman of Delhi based company - Usha Fabs Pvt Ltd, a leading Export House. The group has developed in the various fields of garments like knits, woven and set up one of the largest schiffli embroidery unit in North India. Shri Vaid is known for designing his own collections to his customers in America and Europe. He is very interested in Cricket, a keen golfer.

He has diversified his group’s growth in the US, EU & China and has established offices there. As a member of the Executive Committee of AEPC he has been a part of various delegations Ministry of Commerce & Textiles of the Government of India and has visited several countries like USA, UK, Germany, China, France, Italy, Uzbekistan, Russia, Switzerland, Hong Kong, South Africa for promotion of exports from India and up-gradation of manufacturing process & technology.
