| 1. |
Registered
Exporter: |
| |
| (i) |
Any applicant,
Firm or Society and/or a Statutory Organisation who is an exporter
of garments whether Manufacturer Exporter or Merchant Exporter interested
in the Export and the aims and objectives of the Council shall be
eligible to be Registered as a Registered Exporter of the Council. |
| |
| (ii). |
An Applicant, shall not
be eligible to be Registered as a Registered Exporter if; |
| |
(a) |
He is not a citizen of
India; |
| |
(b) |
He is less than 18 years
of age; |
| |
(c) |
He has been adjudicated
insolvent by a Competent Court of Law; |
| |
(d) |
He has been convicted
of an offence involving misconduct of moral turpitude. |
| |

| (iii) |
(a) |
No applicant shall be
registered by a name which in the opinion of the Council is undesirable
or too identical or too nearly resembles the name by which a Registered
Exporter or member in existence has been previously registered by
Council. To avoid such similarity of names, he may, if so, desired,
refer to the List of Members (The Directory of Apparel Exporters)
which is available in all offices of the Council before applying for
Registration. |

(b) |
However, the Council
will have right to register an applicant if; |
| |
|
|
| |
(i) |
He has done minimum export/local
turnover of Rs. 50 Lakhs at the time of submitting the application. |
| |
|
or
|
| |
(ii) |
If the party is Member/Registered
Exporter of AEPC/Any other EP Council for more than 2 years. |
| |
|
or
|
| |
(iii) |
If the party is Member/Registered
Exporter of AEPC/Any other EP Council for more than 2 years. |
| |
|
or
|
| |
(iv) |
The Exporter has been
held eligible for allotment of NQE on the basis of silk exports and
is registered with ISEPC or on the basis of export of woollen products
and is registered with WWEPC |

| 2. |
Register
of Registered Exporters : |
| |
|
| |
The
Council shall cause a Registered Exporters to be maintained, wherein
shall be set forth the name, address, occupation of every Registered
Exporter with the Council for the time being and in which all changes
with regard to registration from time to time shall be recorded. An
index of the names of the Registered Exporters shall also be kept
unless Register of Exporters is in such form as to constitute an index. |
