Last Date to submit application is 6th June 2008 at any 43 centres of ATDC.

  ATDC - Admission Guidelines
     
  ACADEMIC CALENDAR  
 

1) The centre follows a six-day week schedule. Classes would be held from Monday to Saturday in the morning & afternoon sessions.
2) The Training Centre observes the Govt. Holidays.
3) All the courses commence twice a year i.e. in January and in July.

 
 

Admission Procedure

 
 
  The training courses are open to both men and women who possess the minimum educational qualification.
  The Management reserves the right to offer the batch only in case of sufficient number of selected candidates.
  The admissions are scheduled twice in the Calendar year i.e January session & July session by advertising the admission notice in the Employment News and leading news papers etc.
  The Application form can also be down loaded from the website.
  The application duly filled in along with attested copies of degree / certificates / mark sheets, fees as applicable and two passport size photographs (one to be pasted on the application form) is to be submitted to the respective Training Centre either directly or by registered post.
  Admission is based on merit and personal interview.
 
  FEES  
 
  The prescribed fee shall be paid at the training centre by the student, willing to undergo the training.
  Fees shall be paid only through Pay Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Apparel Training & Design Centre. Cash payment shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
  Under any condition if student is not able to join the course, 10% administrative charges will be deducted and balance amount will be refunded.
  No refund of the fee will be made under the condition if student attend the course.
 
  ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT  
  Every candidate is required to attend all the lectures, practicals and other prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities regularly. Minimum 75% attendance is a must for appearing in the final examination & award of Certificate / Diplomas.  
  CERTIFICATES  
  Necessary certificates will be awarded to the trainees qualifying the courses. The certificates will be hallmark of competence in the relevant skills/trades and their holders engaged by the Apparel Manufacturer in their factories will add to the prestige of their products through excellence in quality and higher productivity.  
  Certificates will be awarded by indicating the Grade as detailed below:

FOR ADMISSION OF FOREIGN NATIONALS, SAARC/NRI
 
 

ATDC encourages applicants belonging to Foreign Nationals, SAARC/NRI category for undergoing various training programmes offered at any of the centres in the country. The admission requirements are as follows:
1. The applicant should fulfill the criteria of the definition of Foreign Nationals, SAARC/NRI as specified in the Income Tax Act 1961.

2. The student has to apply in the prescribed application form mentioning the course in which he/she seeks admission.

3. The duly filled-in application should enclose the following documents: -

 
   

i) Copy of the relevant pages of the Passport as to the details of the applicant (duly attested).
ii) Proof of status of NRI/SAARC/Foreign Nationals (attested copy)
iii) Valid residential permit or student visa for the prescribed duration of the programme
iv) A Demand Draft of US$ 25 in favour of ATDC payable at the centre concerned towards application form and prospectus.

 
  4. Upon the determination of the eligibility of the candidate, he/she will be permitted to appear for the written examination.

5. Based on performance at the examination and interview, admission may be confirmed.

6. The Foreign Nationals, SAARC/NRI/candidate is required to pay tuition fee as under:
 
  Fee for 1 year programmes : US$ 1000/-
6 months programmes : US$ 500/-
