It has been decided that the holidays specified below will be observed in the offices of the AEPC/ATDC during the year 2008.
There will be listed 13 holidays in the year, of these, 11 holidays (including three National Holidays) mentioned below are to be compulsorily observed by all the offices of the Council. The Regional offices of AEPC/ ATDC will choose two optional holidays as per their local importance and will inform to HR Department, Head office by December 15, 2007 (list of optional holidays enclosed at Annex-I).
In addition to the 13 holidays, each employee is permitted to avail any of the two holidays to be chosen by him/her out of the list of Restricted Holidays (list enclosed at Annex-II). They should apply to the competent authority at least one week prior to the date of the Restricted Holiday, which they opt to avail.
