AEPC Society For Human Resource Development:
   
1. NAME
The name of the SOCIETY shall be “AEPC SOCIETY for Human Resource Development” (Henceforth referred to as the SOCIETY)

2. REGISTERED OFFICE
The registered office of the SOCIETY shall be located at Apparel House, Sector-44, Institutional Area, Gurgaon-122003 (Haryana)

3. AIMS & OBJECTIVES.

The main objectives of the SOCIETY will be as follows:
a) to develop human resource for apparel industry, especially at management level , through a programme of education and research.

b) to undertake research studies in various areas of apparel industry and to take follow up action on the same.

c) to provide assistance/guidance to manufacturers and exporters of apparel products.

d) to provide services for training of trainers in apparel industry.

e) to meet the needs of Indian apparel industry in respect of latest information and publication of literature.

f) to plan and organize short term and long term refresher courses for the personnel employed in the apparel industry

The other objectives incidental to the above main objectives can be listed as follows:

i. to augment management talent and resources in the apparel industry.

ii. to train professionals with a comprehensive range of cognitive and intellectual skills.

iii. to impart and provide practical training in apparel management and to award degrees, diplomas, certificates, honorary awards and other distinctions and to award fellowships, scholarships, prizes and medals to the participants at various levels.

iv. to collaborate/associate with Industry, educational and other institutions in any part of the world

v. to become support for industry by providing knowledge base .

vi. to suggest ways and means for enlarging the scope of productive employment in the various sectors of the apparel industry, keeping in view poverty alleviation and equitable distribution of economic benefits.

vii. to conduct short term programmes for increasing quality and productivity of the personnel of apparel industry.

viii. to organize workshop/symposium for building human resource and management relationship

ix. to organize capacity building and training programmes for trainees and management.

x. to organize various programmes, especially relating to career development and enhancement of resource trainees.

xi. to provide technical cooperation to government and other organizations in strengthening their human resource services.

xii. to promote cooperation/collaboration among various professional groups, which contribute to the advancement of human resource in the apparel industry.

xiii. to propose and organize conventions, seminars and workshops on human resource related issues.

xiv. to promote and conduct research/training in various human resource related issues in apparel industry.

xv. to support the development of public opinion among all people on matters of human resource.

xvi. to employ and train persons for the projects, programmes and activities undertaken by the SOCIETY and to give salaries, wages, stipend, emoluments and honorariums.

xvii. to receive annual subscriptions from members and to receive contributions and donations from members as well as non members and also to mobilize resources.

xviii. to take grants and/ or loans by fair and legitimate means from any source for any purpose in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the SOCIETY .

xix. to establish links and collaboration with local, state and central government departments and international agencies.

xx. to undertake the management and execution of any trust/SOCIETY which may be conducive to the attainment of aims and objectives of the SOCIETY.
