Dear Sir / Madam,

The Council is in receipt of a D.O. No. 16/38/2016-E&MDA dated 01.12.2016, issued by Shri Ali R Rizvi,IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India with regard to taking of steps to ensure maximum penetration of cashless transaction by January 1, 2017.  In this behalf, Council has been directed to ensure that following transactions in cashless / electronic mode w.e.f. 01.01.2017 are adopted by AEPC members as well:

(i)               All payment to employees and office expenditure

(ii)              All financial transactions with the members

You are requested to make a note of the above and ensure maximum penetration of cashless transaction by January 1, 2017.
